Little League Divisions
Overview & Recommended Ages
1. Tee Ball
• Recommended Ages: 4-6 years
• Description: Tee Ball is the introductory level of Little League, focusing on teaching young children the basic skills of baseball and softball, including hitting off a stationary tee, fielding, and running the bases. This division prioritizes fun, teamwork, and skill development.
2. Rookies (Coach/Machine Pitch)
• Recommended Ages: 6-8 years
• Description: The Rookies division introduces children to hitting pitches from a coach or a pitching machine. This level helps players develop batting, fielding, and throwing skills while becoming familiar with game rules in a supportive, learning-focused environment.
3. Minors (Player Pitch)
• Recommended Ages: 8-10 years
• Description: The Minors division is the first level where players pitch to each other. It emphasizes skill-building, sportsmanship, and learning game strategies. Players experience more structured play and are introduced to competitive elements in a controlled manner.
4. Majors
